Keep It Together
A downloadable game for Windows
DISCLAIMER: This game contains many extremely graphic and violent images, disturbing sounds, and themes of death and war. Viewer discretion is advised.
Keep It Together is a short, atmospheric, body horror adventure game about a severely injured cyborg soldier, Reynold, in an alternative, diesel-punk inspired World War II battle, using his last breaths to warn the innocent civilians in the nearby village about the incoming hellfire of warfare. Can you help this machine with soul complete his last quest?
The game was made as a YumJam #7 entry in the span of 2 days by 4 authors. The topic to be portrayed was "One With The Machine."
The concept and game design of the game were the collective thought process of all authors. Then we all divided into our roles and respectively created our contributions to the game using various programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Audition, Krita, and REAPER. All the assets were then assembled in Unity.
The game's OST was created in REAPER using various Spitfire Audio LABS software instruments. The sound effects are mashups of various sounds downloaded from Pixabay and Freesound (all files are under the CC0 license) that were then edited in Adobe Audition.
